Agnes Lys Cardigan by Kristin Wiola Ødegård is simply so beautiful - a masterpiece! We chose to make it really luxurious by knitting it with 1 strand of Merino together with 1 strand of Soft Silk Mohair. It’s a nod here in the West to the Bohus cardigans.

I immediately thought this should be so beautiful but reality exceeded expectations and Agnes Lys is simply amazing!

The colors are lovely and it is so soft to wear, a fine cardigan for many years ahead.

Knitted in M on 3.75 mm needles for the pattern knitting and 3.0 mm for the ribbing.

For size 2 XL-3 XL, 2 skeins of merino + 2 skeins of Soft Silk Mohair (Dark Ocher) are needed, and the same applies for MF1 (Marzipan).

The Agnes cardigan is knitted top-down with a circular pattern before the work is divided into sleeves and body. It is knitted in 8 colors but only 2 colors are used per round. If you have lots of leftover finull yarn, the Agnes cardigan is perfect for slimming down your yarn stash.
