This knitting pattern is in Swedish.
Goes great with our merino and 1 strand of Soft Silk Mohair from Knitting for Olive.
Stockholm Slipover is knitted from top to bottom. First the back piece, then the shoulder parts and the front piece and finally the torso. Stockholm Slipover has a slope over the shoulders created with the help of purl knitting to get a good fit. An elastic edge is knitted along the neck opening and the armhole, which is cast off with a tight Italian cast off.
Make a sample before you start - it is of great importance for the shoulder width, that the knitting strength is correct.
Size guide
Stockholm Slipover should have a freedom of movement (positive ease) of approx. 6 cm in relation to your chest measurement. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a chest measurement of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 ( 130-140) 140-150 cm. Before you start knitting, measure yourself to determine which size is best for you. If you e.g. measures 90 cm around the chest (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size S, which has an overall width of 96 cm.
Stockholm Slipover is knitted with decreases in the sides of the body. If the chest is not the widest part of your body, you can refrain from knitting these decreases on the torso.
