MATERIAL & INFORMATION

Mohair and silk together, create an incomparable yarn. It has an incomparable luster and a phenomenal lightness which makes for a very elegant garment. The yarn is spun and dyed in hanks in Italy and the mohair fibers are carefully selected and fully traceable and certified. Despite the exclusivity of the yarn, the garment is still easy to care for.

Dirt does not penetrate the wool fiber, but stays on the surface. Therefore, shaking and airing can often replace water washing. A garment that is not worn directly against the skin usually does not need to be washed more than every four to six months, even if it is used frequently, and perhaps even less often than that. Sometimes it can be enough to wash, for example, the cuffs.

It is very important to use delicate detergents for all types of wool, mohair, cashmere and silk. It must be a detergent without bleach and enzymes, which otherwise make the fiber brittle and dull.

Generous size.

We recommend machine wash or hand wash. When hand washing, use water that is about 30 degrees and do not let the clothes stay wet for a long time. Never wring out of water, but squeeze instead. If you twist, the fibers in the yarn can "felt" (which means that the small scales of the wool fibers get stuck together) and the garment risks losing its shape permanently. Even seams can be damaged. For all machine washing, please wash inside out, and preferably in a laundry bag to protect surfaces and buttons.

Reshape the wet garment after washing and let it flat dry and it will retain its dimensions. Properly cared for, a good quality garment should neither shrink nor grow.
