The Sweater from Lerwick

The sweater from Lerwick is a true timeless classic that looks so stylish!

It was Gunnel Melcher who originally designed the pattern charts, and you will find the pattern in Swedish in the book "Fishermen's Sweaters and Other Sweater Classics" by Uuve Snidare. The book can be found at libraries or on Bokbörsen. Unfortunately, it is not in print anymore. You just have to visit the library.

We have chosen to make a kit in sizes S-L with Shetland yarns from Jamieson & Smith.

This is a 70s model, so the sizes are not small. We have the same yarn colors as those in the pictures.

81 black-gray     13 skeins

1A natural white        6 skeins

2   natural beige   3 skeins

54 gray               3 skeins

Knitting needles: 3.5mm
