"Peer Gynt has been on the market since 1938, and the structure of the yarn has made it a favorite for knitting cardigans. Peer Gynt remains just as popular today as it was then. Garments made from Norwegian wool are perceived as light and become much softer with each use. Norwegian wool is durable, does not pill, and has very good elasticity, which helps the garments maintain their shape over time. Think about the environment: wool breathes and rarely needs to be washed, so we recommend airing the garment instead. Garments made from Norwegian wool have a long lifespan and can be beautiful for several generations. This makes Norwegian wool part of a more sustainable mindset."

"If you wash in a machine, we recommend that all wool garments be washed on a separate wool program for the gentlest treatment. Spin the garment well before laying it flat to dry, preferably on a towel. Never use a laundry bag when washing hand-knitted garments - this creates friction and can cause the garment to felt."
