Novice Sweater – Mohair Edition- PetiteKnit

This knitting pattern is in Swedish. It works great with two strands of Soft Silk Mohair.

The Novis Sweater is knitted from the top down. This means that you start by knitting the neckline, then the yoke, then the body and finally the sleeves. The sweater is knitted in stockinette stitch, while the edges are knitted in garter stitch.

Size guide and measurements

Note that you can only use the measurements in the description if you maintain the knitting strength.

The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL correspond to a bust measurement of around 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 cm. Novice Sweater – Mohair Edition should have a range of motion (positive ease) of around 6-12 cm. This means that if you measure, for example, 94 cm around the chest (measure yourself with a tape measure around the bust or at the widest part of your body), you should knit size. M which has an overall width of 102 cm.

Yarn suggestions: 175 (175-200) 200 (225) 225 (275) 325 g Silk Mohair from Isager Yarn (25 g = 212 m) or Thin Silk Mohair from Sandnes Garn (25 g = 212 m) or Tilia from Filcolana (25 g = 210 m) or Brushed Lace from Mohair By Canard (25 g = 210 m). Note that it is knitted with two threads at the same time and that the yarn consumption indicates the total yarn consumption.
