It becomes perfect with 60 Garn Nords own yarn spun at Hjelholts together with 1 thread Silk Mohair from Isager.

The Moby Neck is knitted in textured knitting from the back piece up towards the shoulders and down over the front piece. An opening is knitted for the head, where stitches are then picked up for the turtleneck. The Moby Neck is shaped like a square on the back and like a trapezoid in front. 

The pattern uses the techniques Italian cast-on and Italian bind-off.

Make a gauge swatch to find the needle size that gives you the correct gauge. Wash the swatch before measuring the gauge.

Measurements: Length: approx. 28 (32) cm (without turtleneck), shoulder width: approx. 35 (38) cm

Gauge: 25 stitches x 29 rows in textured knitting on 3.5 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm after washing and blocking 

Suggested needles: 3.5 mm circular needle (60 cm) and 3 mm circular needle (40 cm)
