The Moby Neck is knitted in textured knitting from the back piece up towards the shoulders and down over the front piece. An opening is knitted for the head, where stitches are then picked up for the turtleneck. The Moby Neck is shaped like a square on the back and like a trapezoid in front.
The pattern uses the techniques Italian cast-on and Italian bind-off.
