The beginner kit- Novice Sweater – Chunky Edition

We have put together a nice beginner's kit that includes patterns, knitting needles and yarn. The yarns are from Knitting for Olive and are soft and of the highest quality. The knitting needles are from Chiaogoo and last a lifetime. The nice pattern is from Petiteknit and the nice thing is that there are videos for all stages at Petiteknit

We have chosen the color Sten in Heavy Merino and the color Pearl gray in Soft Silk Mohair. If you want a different color, write it in the message.

Novice Sweater – Chunky Edition knit from top to bottom. That is, you start by knitting the elastic at the neckline, then the yoke, then the torso and finally the sleeves. The sweater is knitted in stockinette stitch, while the edges are knitted in rib knit.

Novice Sweater - Chunky Edition has a round yoke. It is formed by gradually knitting increases in four rounds evenly distributed over the yoke.

Size guide and measurements

Note that you can only use the measurements in the description if you maintain the knitting strength.

The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a bust measurement of around 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 ( 130-140) 140-150 cm. Novice Sweater – Chunky Edition should have a range of motion (positive ease) of around 18 cm. This means that if you measure, for example, 95 cm around the chest (measure yourself with a tape measure around the bust or at the widest part of your body), you should knit size M, which has an overall width of 114 cm.

A shirt in size M will in the mentioned example give a range of motion (positive ease) of 19 cm.

The model in the picture wears a size XS, has a bust measurement of 82 cm and is 164 cm tall.
