Ingrid sweater- Petiteknit
This knitting pattern is in Swedish.
The sweater is excellent to knit with 1 strand of Jensen together with 1 strand of Silk Mohair from Isager.
The Ingrid Sweater is knitted from top to bottom in textured knitting. First, the back is knitted, which is knitted with short rows to shape the shoulder slope. Then stitches are picked up for the shoulder parts, which are also knitted with short rows to shape the shoulder slope. The shoulder parts are then joined at the front to knit the front piece. The front and back pieces are then joined under the armhole to knit the body, which is knitted straight down. The sleeves are knitted in the round from picked-up stitches in the armhole. The Ingrid Sweater is knitted with textured knitting, consisting of three different pattern segments. Between each of these, a section with lace pattern is knitted. Make a gauge swatch before you start knitting to measure the gauge – note that the gauge should match both in height and width for the measurements given on the front to be correct.
Size guide
The Ingrid Sweater should have a positive ease of about 20 cm in relation to your bust measurement. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a bust measurement, measured on the body, of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are given on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 90 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size S. A sweater in size S has a chest width of 112 cm and will in the mentioned example give a positive ease of 22 cm.
