Cumulus top- Petiteknit
Becomes so beautiful in our Pure silk from Knitting for Olive.
The Cumulus Top is knitted from top to bottom in stockinette stitch. First, four triangles are knitted, which are then joined on a circular needle to form the body. The body is knitted straight down in stockinette stitch and finished with a double-folded hem. Finally, i-cord edges are knitted along the edges at the top of the top. These continue out into the shoulder straps, which are sewn together with mattress stitch.
Size guide
The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL correspond to a bust measurement of approximately 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 cm. The Cumulus Top is thus worn with a negative ease of about -6 cm. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 89 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size S. A top in size S has an overbust of 84 cm and will in the mentioned example give a negative ease of -5 cm. If you are between two sizes, choose the smaller size.
The model in the picture wears a size XS, has a bust measurement of 82 cm, and is 164 cm tall. The top is thus worn with a negative ease of -2 cm.
