Coinneach gul kit

We have chosen to knit the cardigan Coinneach in Jumper weight yarn. The bottom color is No. 2, which goes in the natural/beige/grey direction. The yoke has four colors granite gray no. 54, moss green no. FC12, heather purple no. 133 and a golden yellow 28. The unusual thing about this yoke is that it is knitted with both purl and purl stitches, which gives the colors a depth. The cardigan is knitted from the bottom up on circular needles. Sleeves and body are knitted separately and then knitted together at the yoke. The pattern can be found in the book "The West Highland Way" A very inspiring book by Kate Davies from Scotland.
