The Cockatoo Brae cardigan is knitted with Jumper weight yarn. The base color is FC58, a brown tweed with hints of blue. The yoke has 5 colors and a background color within the yoke itself. The cardigan is knitted from the bottom up on circular needles. Sleeves and body are knitted separately and then joined together at the yoke. The pattern is found in the book Yokes by Kate Davies. It is another very inspiring book by Kate Davies from Scotland. Here you will find many beautiful yokes. Fun fact: this cardigan has patterns for both machine knitting and hand knitting.
