The knitting pattern is in Swedish and can be knitted with one strand of Heavy Merino and one strand of Soft Silk Mohair from Knitting for Olive. Always make a gauge swatch.

The Zipper Sweater is knitted from the top down in one piece. The neckline is knitted in ribbing, which is folded double and knitted down. The yoke is knitted with raglan increases, first back and forth on the circular needle to leave space for the zipper, and then around on the circular needle. The body and sleeves are knitted in the round. Finally, a facing for the zipper is knitted from held stitches, so that the zipper looks neat even from the back when sewn on. The zipper is attached last by sewing it between the two layers of knitted fabric – by hand or machine.

Knit a swatch to find the needle size that gives you the correct gauge.

Size guide

The Zipper Sweater should have a positive ease of about 35 cm in relation to your bust measurement. The fit is oversize. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a bust measurement, taken on your own body, of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are given on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size suits you best. For example, if you measure 88 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size S. A sweater in size S has a chest circumference of 123 cm and will in the mentioned example give a positive ease of 35 cm.
