Astrid Sweater is knitted in stockinette stitch from bottom to top. The sweater has rounded ribbed edges at the bottom that end
in a small slit on each side. First, the lower edges are knitted back and forth and then the body is knitted in the round
up to the armholes. The work is then divided into front and back pieces which are knitted back and forth. Stitches
are picked up for the sleeves which are knitted in the round. The sweater is finished with ribbed edges around the neckline and
the sleeves.
