The West Coast Set - PetiteKnit

The Vesterhavs set consists of a hat and a scarf. The hat has a wide folded ribbed edge at the bottom, while the top is stockinette stitch. The scarf is knitted as a long tube, sewn together at the ends – this way, the scarf has no front or back side.

Sizes: The hat fits a head circumference of 54-58 cm. The scarf is just under 2 m long and 23 cm wide.

Gauge: Hat: 23 stitches x 32 rows in stockinette stitch with double yarn on 3 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm

Scarf: 28 stitches x 38 rows in stockinette stitch with single yarn on 3 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm

Suggested needles: 3 mm circular needle (40 cm), 3 mm double-pointed needles

Material: Sunday from Sandnes Garn (50 g = 235 m) or Arwetta from Filcolana (50 g = 210 m)

The hat requires about 80 g of yarn

The scarf requires 300 g of yarn
