The Truffle Sweater is a simple and beginner-friendly sweater knitted in double seed stitch with ribbed edges.
The sweater is knitted in the round from the top down with raglan increases.
The simplicity of the Truffle Sweater makes it a perfect project for beginners who want to add a textured garment to their handmade wardrobe. The sweater is knitted with three strands held together throughout and seamlessly from the top down in a double garter stitch pattern. It starts with a ribbed collar and continues in the stitch pattern with raglan increases down to the underarms. The sleeve stitches are then placed on hold to be knitted after the body is finished. Both body and sleeves are finished with ribbed edges. Considering beginners, we have included a section in the pattern that explains some more advanced techniques.
