Sunday Cardigan - PetiteKnit
This knitting pattern is in Swedish.
We knitted this one in Norwegian yarns Blåne together with two threads of Silk Mohair from Isager.
The Sunday Cardigan is knitted from top to bottom in one thread of Inca Wool and two threads of silk mohair. The yoke is knitted back and forth in ribbing with increases, and the front edges are knitted at the same time. The sleeves on the Sunday Cardigan are extra long. The neckline edge is folded and sewn to the inside. The buttonholes are made last (i.e., not knitted as you go) by sewing around the edge with buttonhole stitches.
NOTE: Before you start, you should make a swatch and test if the needle size gives you the correct gauge of 12 stitches per 10 cm. If you knit a bit tightly, you may need to use size 8 mm needles. If the gauge does not match, the size will change significantly.
Size guide
The Sunday Cardigan should have a positive ease of 8-12 cm relative to your bust measurement. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL correspond to a bust measurement of about 85 (90) 95 (100) 110 cm. Measure yourself before you start knitting to assess which size fits you best. For example, if you measure 90 cm around the bust, you should knit a size S.
