SUMMER SOFT is knitted in stockinette stitch with a simple silhouette and a slightly forward-shifted shoulder line.
The sweater is knitted from the top down and requires no seaming. First, the neck ribbing is knitted in the round, followed by short rows to shape the neckline, before the work is once again knitted in the round until the shoulder width is reached.
The work is divided into front and back pieces, and the top part of the yoke is knitted separately for each piece. Stitches are then picked up along the armholes, after which the work is joined again and knitted in the round down to the end of the armhole. Here, the work is divided into body and sleeves.
The body is knitted in the round and finished with a slightly rounded edge and ribbing. The sleeves are also knitted in the round and finished with a ribbed edge. Since the sweater is knitted from the top down, it is easy to adjust the lengths as you work so that it fits you perfectly.

The amount of ease preferred varies from person to person. Therefore, it may be a good idea to measure one or more of your favorite sweaters and compare the measurements—this can help you choose the size that suits you best.
My own Summer Soft has 38 cm of ease.
I generally recommend 20–40 cm of ease, depending on the look and fit you want.
