This knitting pattern is in Swedish.
Preferably knit with threads of Soft Silk Mohair from Knitting for Olive.
The Stockholm sweater is knit top-down in stockinette stitch with a double strand of silk/mohair. First, the upper part of the back is knit, then stitches are picked up along the cast-on edge of the back to the shoulders. The shoulders are knit separately with short rows to create a wedge. The front and back pieces are joined under the armhole, and the body is knit in the round on circular needles. Stitches are picked up along the armholes for the sleeves, which are knit in the round on double-pointed needles or using Magic Loop. Finally, stitches are picked up along the neckline, where a ribbed edge is knit, folded, and sewn on the wrong side. The Stockholm sweater requires no seaming except for folding the neckline edge.
