The soft ISAGER SOFT with the brushed look is really popular, so we wanted to introduce a thinner version as well. ISAGER SOFT is made as a cotton tube with fine alpaca fibers blown in and can only be made as a thick yarn. ISAGER SOFT FINE is made with a silk core, where a thread consisting of Alpaca and Yak is first made as a bouclé and then brushed up.
So it is both a different production technology and fiber composition than ISAGER SOFT, but we think the term is similar enough to call it ISAGER SOFT FINE. ISAGER SOFT FINE contains yak wool and in the same way as we know it from our s-colours, where black wool is mixed with white to give a mottled yarn, it is now the dark color of the yak that gives life to the yarn. The soft look of the yarn makes it instantly look like Silk Mohair, but it's very different to knit with and easier to handle if you just want to knit with one thread. The yarn is incredibly soft and internally we call it "Isager's Cashmere".

Washing advice
Wool is washed by hand, unless you have a washing machine with a very gentle wool program that can be washed in cold water. To avoid wrinkling the finished model, only a little soap is used. Use an approved wool detergent. Keep the same temperature throughout the washing and rinsing process and finally do not wash above 28 degrees. The knitted model can advantageously be spun easily after washing. Place the model in a laundry bag or pillowcase. After the centrifugation, the model is laid out to dry on towels.
It is not necessary to wash a wool model often. It is often enough to hang it up for ventilation in damp weather. Cotton yarn and mixed yarn with flax and bamboo can withstand higher washing temperatures, but we recommend the same wash as the wool yarn.
Storage
Remember to store yarn and knitting in plastic bags or tightly woven cotton bags. A bucket or plastic container with a tight-fitting lid is also suitable.
Isager yarns are not moth-treated, as the agents available are not without side effects in relation to allergy sufferers and also only last for the first wash.
