It is knitted in the round from top to bottom, has a round yoke, and features a Fair Isle pattern with snow and fir trees around the entire body. The sweater is knitted with 1 strand of Merino + 1 strand of Soft Silk Mohair held together at all times.
You start with the folded ribbed neckline and continue with the neckline using German short rows.
Afterwards, increases are made around the yoke down to the armholes. When the yoke is finished, the sleeve stitches are put on hold to be knitted after the body is completed. The body pattern is then further shaped by knitting additional German short rows at each armhole before you begin knitting the Fair Isle pattern according to the chart. Ribbed edges finish the body and sleeves.
The Fair Isle pattern is only charted.
If you want to use leftover yarn for contrast colors 1 and 2, you need less than 20 g merino wool and less than 11 g Soft Silk Mohair for the snow, and less than 10 g merino wool and 7 g Soft Silk Mohair for the trees.
