Preferably knit with Merino and Soft Silk Mohair from Knitting for Olive, which can be purchased in our store.
The September Hat is knit in the round on circular needles in brioche stitch from the forehead upwards. The hat uses an Italian cast-on to create a neat edge. Decreases are knit at the top of the hat.
Note that when brioche stitch is knit in the round on a circular needle, the brioche stitches alternate between being knit as knit stitches and purl stitches every other round.
Sizes: Fits head circumference 53-55 (55-58) cm
Gauge: 12 stitches x 38 rows in brioche stitch on 4.5 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm (measure gauge while gently pressing and stretching the swatch sideways)
Suggested needles: Circular needle 4.5 mm (40 cm), double-pointed needles 4.5 mm (if not knitting with Magic Loop technique)

Option 2: 50 (50) g Sunday from Sandnes Garn (50 g = 235 m) (knit with single strand) together with 50 (50) g Tynn Silk Mohair from Sandnes Garn (25 g = 212 m) (knit with double strand)

The pink September Hat is knit in Peruvian Highland Wool from Filcolana in the color Bubblegum [313] together with Tilia from Filcolana in the color Bubblegum [313].
