The knitting pattern is in Swedish and can be knitted with one thread of merino and two threads of Soft Silk Mohair from Knitting for Olive.
September Jacket is knitted from top to bottom in patent knitting in one thread Sunday and two threads Thin Silk Mohair. First the back piece is knitted, then the right shoulder part and the left shoulder part. These three parts are brought together to knit the torso, which is knitted back and forth in patent. The sleeves are knitted from outside gathered stitches in the armhole. Finally, elastic edges are knitted along the front edges of the jacket to form button posts, as well as an elastic edge in the neck opening. The pockets are also knitted in patent and sewn on at the end. The jacket closes at the front with large press studs.
Make a sample before you start knitting, to find the size of knitting needles that will give you the right knitting strength. Please note that the sample should be washed and blocked before measuring tick resistance. This is important, as patent knit expands after washing and use
Size guide
September Jacket should have a freedom of movement (positive ease) of around 5-8 cm. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL correspond to a chest measurement of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 cm. Measure yourself with a tape measure before you start knitting, to be able to judge which size fits you best. Example: you measure yourself to 94 cm around the bust (or stomach, if that is the widest part of your body). This means that you should knit a size M.
