Whitby Sweater - Marie Wallin - Aran

Whitby is a fantastic new design with a patterned yoke, knitted in British Breeds Aran yarn. It was originally developed as an exclusive design for our friends at The Woolly Thistle in the USA, but is now also available here. The design features a Fair Isle-patterned yoke, is knitted in the round, and has an A-line fit with three-quarter-length sleeves.

The Whitby knitting kit is available in one size covering S/M, L/XL and XXL/2XL. The kit contains enough yarn to knit size XXL/2XL. The pattern booklet included in the kit covers the full size range.

The finished measurements (garment measured flat) in cm (inches) are:

S/M – chest circumference 51 (20), lower edge width 60 (23.5), length 56 (22) and armhole to lower edge 35 (13.75).

L/XL – chest circumference 62.5 (24.5), lower edge width 72.5 (28.5), length 60 (23.5) and armhole to lower edge 36 (14.25).

XXL/2XL – chest circumference 72 (28.25), lower edge width 84 (33), length 64 (25.25) and armhole to lower edge 36 (14.25).

3XL – chest circumference 76.5 (30), lower edge width 88.5 (34.75), length 65 (25.5) and armhole to lower edge 36 (14.25).
