This pattern is in Swedish.
We recommend knitting it in our lovely Luna yarn from Norwegian Hillesvåg!
Saga Sweater is knitted from the top down in textured knitting. First, the upper back is knitted with increases. The shoulder sections are then knitted from stitches picked up along the top of the back piece. The work is then joined on a circular needle, and stitches are picked up for the sleeves before the remainder of the yoke is knitted in the round with raglan increases. The body and sleeves are knitted in the round on a circular needle. Finally, a ribbed neckline is knitted.
Make a gauge swatch to find the needle size that gives you the correct tension. You can make a gauge swatch following the charts in the knitting patterns.
Size guide
Saga Sweater is designed to have approximately 20 cm of positive ease in the smallest sizes, gradually decreasing in the larger sizes. Sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) correspond to a bust measurement of 75 80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are shown on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you begin knitting to determine which size will fit you best. For example, if your bust measures 90 cm around (or at the widest point of your body), you should knit a size S. A size S sweater has a bust circumference of 110 cm and, in this example, will give you 20 cm of positive ease. The measurement chart is available here.
