Amy Sweater- Petiteknit
We have chosen to knit in Merino together with Soft Silk Mohair from Knitting for Olive.
The Oslo Sweater is knitted from top to bottom. First, the back piece is knitted back and forth on a circular needle, first with increases at each end of the needle and then straight down. Then stitches are picked up for the shoulder parts, which are first knitted separately and then joined to the front piece. The back piece and front piece are joined under the armhole to shape the body, which is knitted in the round on a circular needle with decreases. The sleeves and neckline are finally knitted from picked-up stitches.
Size guide
The Oslo Sweater should have a positive ease of about 20-25 cm in relation to your bust measurement. The fit is oversize. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL correspond to a bust measurement, taken on your own body, of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are given on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size suits you best. For example, if you measure 88 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size S. A sweater in size S has a chest width of 110 cm and will in the mentioned example give a positive ease of 22 cm.
