Baggy Hat is a simple hat with a slightly baggy fit at the back of the head and a rolled edge at the bottom. The hat is knitted in the round on circular needles from the bottom up and finished at the top with decreases knitted using double-pointed needles. The hat stretches with use (when the recommended or a similar yarn is used) to a gauge of 17–18 stitches per 10 cm—it is designed for this in the pattern in relation to the fit. You can vary the length of the hat to achieve the style you want. The crown with decreases measures 5–6 cm.

Measure your head circumference to find the size that suits you. As a starting point, the smallest size is intended for children, while the larger sizes fit adults.

Knit a swatch to make sure you achieve the correct gauge before you begin.
