Olive Slipover is a slipover in a structured pattern with elastic edges.
The slipover is knitted from top to bottom according to the diagram.
First, the front and back pieces are knitted back and forth, then the torso is knitted around.
Finally, stitches are picked up in the neck and at the armholes, where elastic edges are knitted.
The structured pattern can also be found in "Olive Turtleneck", "Olive Cardigan" and "Olive Shawl".
About knitting according to charts
Always start in the lower right corner of the chart. When knitted in the round according to the diagram, the diagram is read from right to left on all rows. If it is knitted back and forth, you knit from right to left on all odd rows (=right side), and from left to right on all even rows in the diagram (=wrong side).
Some diagrams contain a gray field of stitches, which is repeated a certain number of times. First the white fields to the right of the gray ones are knitted 1 time, then the gray part is knitted repeatedly until there are not enough stitches left on the needle to repeat the whole part once more, then the white fields to the left of the gray ones are knitted, 1 time.
