Olive Slipover is a slipover in a textured pattern with ribbed edges.
The slipover is knitted top-down according to the chart.
First, the front and back pieces are knitted back and forth, then the body is knitted in the round.
Finally, stitches are picked up at the neckline and armholes, where ribbed edges are knitted.
The textured pattern is also found in the "Olive Turtleneck", "Olive Cardigan" and "Olive Shawl". About knitting from charts
Always start at the lower right corner of the chart. When knitting in the round according to the chart, read the chart from right to left on all rounds. When knitting back and forth, knit from right to left on all odd rows (= right side), and from left to right on all even rows in the chart (= wrong side).
Some charts contain a grey field of stitches, which is repeated a certain number of times. First, the white fields to the right of the grey are knitted once, then the grey section is repeated until there are not enough stitches left on the needle to repeat the entire section once more, then the white fields to the left of the grey are knitted once.
