The Olga Blouse is knitted top-down in stripes. First, the upper part of the back is knitted back and forth, and a shoulder slope is shaped using short rows while knitting stripes. Then the shoulders are knitted separately back and forth on a circular needle. These are then joined at the front to knit the front piece. The front and back pieces are then joined to knit the body, which is knitted in the round on a circular needle with stripes. The sleeves are knitted from stitches picked up along the armhole. The double-folded neckline is knitted last from stitches picked up.

Size guide

The Olga Blouse should have a positive ease of about 12 cm in the smallest sizes but gradually less in the larger sizes. The sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) correspond to a bust measurement, taken on the body, of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The finished blouse measurements are given on the front of the pattern. Note that these measurements only apply if the gauge is maintained. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 95 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size M. A blouse in size M has a chest width of 107 cm and will in this example give a positive ease of 12 cm. The measurement chart is available here.
