This knitting pattern is in Swedish.
This will be perfect in 60 Garn Nords' own yarn, which has been spun at Hjelholts Spinneri 275m / 100g.
The Novice Slipover Man is knitted from the top down in stockinette stitch. First, the back piece is knitted, and then stitches are picked up along the cast-on edge of the back piece to shape the shoulders, which are later joined at the front to knit the front piece. The back and front pieces are then joined under the armhole to shape the body, which is knitted in the round on circular needles. Along the neckline and armholes, ribbed edges are finally knitted. Instructional videos are available for all steps in the pattern.
Size guide
The Novice Slipover Man should have a positive ease of about 10 cm in relation to your bust measurement. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a bust measurement of 86-91 (91-96) 96-101 (101-107) 107-113 (113-119) 119-124 (124-132) 132-144 cm. The measurements of the finished slipover are given on the front page of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 101 cm around your bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size L. A slipover in size L has a chest circumference of 111 cm and will, in this example, provide a positive ease of 10 cm.
