The inspiration for the book's 16 knitted sweaters for women is drawn from nature's fine details, captured by a camera: dew drops on grass, small flowers in fragrant moss, and the whimsical shapes and colors that only nature can create.
I have worked with various knitting techniques such as cables, woven knitting, and surface textures to capture and convey these moods. The techniques are carefully described so that both experienced and curious knitters have a good and enjoyable experience along the way.
The sweaters are designed to cover 5 sizes, with a strong emphasis on good fit.
Selected yarn qualities from Isager have been used, each contributing to the sweaters' unique expression and character.
