This knitting pattern is in Swedish.
We have chosen the beautiful Jensen yarn together with Silk Mohair from Isager.
The Moby Sweater is knitted from top to bottom with textured and cable knitting. First, the back is knitted with short rows to shape the shoulder slope. Then stitches are picked up for the shoulders, which are then joined at the front to knit the front piece. The front and back pieces are then joined under the armhole to continue knitting the body straight down. The sleeves are knitted in the round on double-pointed needles or using the Magic Loop technique. Finally, a ribbed edge is knitted at the neckline, which is folded double and knitted down.
Make a gauge swatch to check which needle size you should use to achieve the correct gauge – note that this can vary from yarn to yarn. Be sure to wash the swatch before measuring, as textured knitting can stretch when washed.
Size guide
The Moby Sweater should have a positive ease of 15-20 cm in relation to your bust measurement. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a bust measurement, measured on the body, of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are given on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 90 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size S. A sweater in size S has a chest width of 106 cm and will, in this example, provide a positive ease of 16 cm.
