Moby Sweater- PetiteKnit

This knitting pattern is in Swedish.

It is excellent to knit with 60 Garner Nord's own yarn from Hjelholt's 270m/ hg together with Soft Silk mohair or Heavy Merino together with Soft Silk Mohair.

Moby Sweater is knitted from top to bottom with structure and braid knitting. First, the back is knitted with shortened rounds to shape the shoulder slope. Next, stitches are picked up for the shoulders, which are then brought together at the front to knit the front piece. The front piece and the back are in turn brought together under the armhole to continue working on the torso, which is worked straight down. The sleeves are knitted in the round on double pointed needles or with Magic Loop technology. Finally, an elastic edge is knitted in the neck, which is folded double and knitted down.

Do a swatch to check which size stitch to use to get the right stitch strength - note that this can vary from yarn to yarn. Be careful to wash the swatch before measuring as textured knits can stretch when washed.

Size guide

The Moby Sweater should have a range of motion (positive ease) of 15-20 cm in relation to your bust measurement. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a bust measurement, measured on the body, of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) ) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are given on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit you best. If you e.g. measures 90 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size S. A sweater in size S has an overall width of 106 cm and in the mentioned example will give a range of motion (positive ease) of 16 cm.
