Luna - Unbleached White

 In the fall of 2022, a new yarn quality arrived - Luna Lammullsgarn!

Luna is a very resilient 2-strand hand knitting yarn.

Vidde Lammullsgarn and Varde Pälsullsgarn are Luna's friends and are great to knit together in the same garment.

Luna lambswool yarn is spun from Norwegian lambswool C1 Fine, 28 microns. This means that only the finest fibers from Norwegian whites are included in the production of Luna lambswool yarn.

The yarn is approx. 200 m/ hg.

Stitch count: 18 sts x 24 rounds = 10 x 10 cm on needles 4.5 – 5 mm.

Nm 4/2, 2-thread, 100% Norwegian wool.

The wool from the sheep is Nordic Ecolabelled. This makes this fiber suitable for airy, soft and light carded yarns. Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk has placed an increased environmental focus on the use of dyes in our production. We mark this by using only GOTS-approved dyes in our Luna lambswool yarn color range. GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) requires dyes to be biodegradable and non-toxic. The final product must not contain allergens or residues of dangerous chemicals. GOTS approved dyes are allowed in organic production of yarn and textiles.
