Patterns in Swedish included

For the book Poetry in Masks, designer Solveig Hisdal drew inspiration from traditional patterns and techniques from, among others, textiles, rosemaling chests and cabinets, wallpapers, national costumes, and bridal cloths. She visited museums to gather knowledge and inspiration, using this to create a book full of knitted treasures. The book was published in 1997 and is unfortunately not available for sale today.

Model 156 is knitted in Ask Wool Yarn (formerly Hifa 2). The yarn pack contains the pattern and enough yarn for the largest size.
Inspired by the national costume life from Eggedal. Both the pattern and colors attracted interest and have been attempted to be reproduced as closely as possible in this jacket.

Knitting needles and gauge
26 sts / 30 rounds pattern = 10 x 10 cm
Circular needles 2.5 and 3 mm
Double-pointed needles 2.5 and 3 mm

For best results, we recommend using the needle size you need to achieve the specified gauge. Switch to larger or smaller needles if necessary.
