Poems in masks - Solveig Hisdal, mod. 146

To the book Poems in masks designer Solveig Hisdal drew inspiration from traditional patterns and techniques from, among other things, textiles, rose-mala chests and cupboards, wallpaper, bunads and tablecloths. She went to museums and gained knowledge and inspiration, and used this to create a book full of knitted treasures. The book was published in 1997 and is unfortunately not available for sale today.

Model 146 is knitted in Ash wool yarn (formerly Hifa 2). The yarn package contains a pattern and enough yarn for the largest size.
Inspired by the painting feat from Oak found at the Vest-Agder County Museum. The jumper is knitted in a simple weave pattern decorated with a yellow ribbon at the neck.
