For the book Poems in Stitches, designer Solveig Hisdal drew inspiration from traditional patterns and techniques from, among others, textiles, rosemaling chests and cupboards, wallpapers, folk costumes, and chest cloths. She visited museums to gather knowledge and inspiration, using this to create a book full of knitted treasures. The book was published in 1997 and is unfortunately not available for sale today.

Model 136 is knitted in Ask wool yarn (formerly Hifa 2). The yarn pack contains the pattern and enough yarn for the largest size.
Inspired by flowers painted on the inside of a coffin lid found at Vestvågøy Museum. The jacket has traditional floral patterns in earth tones on an off-white background.

26 sts / 30 rounds pattern = 10 x 10 cm
Circular needle 2.5 and 3 mm
