Alice Top - PetiteKnit

The Alice Top is knitted from the bottom up. The body is knitted in the round in stockinette stitch, and then the work is divided into front and back pieces, which are knitted separately back and forth in stockinette stitch. The back is knitted in one piece, while the front features a V-neckline. The instructions also include guidance on knitting the top from the center using provisional cast-on, so that the final length of the top can be adjusted at the very end. Make a gauge swatch to check your knitting tension. Wash the swatch because the recommended yarn will stretch when washed and worn.

The sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) correspond to a bust measurement of approximately 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The Alice Top is therefore worn with a positive ease of about 0 cm. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 88 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size S. A top in size S has a finished bust circumference of 88 cm and will in this example provide an ease of 0 cm. The model in the picture is wearing a size XS, has a bust measurement of 80 cm, and is 164 cm tall. The top is thus worn with an ease of 3 cm.
