Ingrid Sweater Man - PetiteKnit
This knitting pattern is in Swedish.
Ingrid Sweater Man is knit from the top down with textured knitting. First, the back is knit using short rows to shape the shoulder slope. Then stitches are picked up for the shoulder sections, which are then joined at the front to knit the front piece. The front and back are then joined under the armhole to knit the body, which is knit straight down. The sleeves are knit in the round on double-pointed needles or using the Magic Loop technique. A ribbed neckline is knit, folded double, and knit down. Ingrid Sweater Man is knit with textured knitting, consisting of three different pattern segments. Make a gauge swatch before you start knitting to measure gauge – note that gauge must match both in height and width for the measurements given on the front to be accurate.
Size guide
Ingrid Sweater Man should have a positive ease of about 20 cm in relation to your chest measurement. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a chest measurement, taken on the body, of 86-91 (91-96) 96-101 (101-107) 107-113 (113-119) 119-124 (124-132) 132-144 cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are given on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 103 cm around your chest (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size L. A size L sweater has a chest circumference of 128 cm and will in this example provide a positive ease of 25 cm.
