This knitting pattern is in Swedish.
The Ingrid Sweater Man is knitted from top to bottom with textured knitting. First, the back is knitted using short rows to shape the shoulder slope. Then stitches are picked up for the shoulder sections, which are then joined at the front to knit the front piece. The front piece and back are then joined under the armhole to knit the body, which is knitted straight down. The sleeves are knitted in the round on double-pointed needles or using the Magic Loop technique. A ribbed edge is knitted at the neckline, which is folded double and knitted down. The Ingrid Sweater Man is knitted with textured knitting, consisting of three different pattern segments. Make a gauge swatch before you start knitting to measure gauge – note that the gauge must match both in height and width for the measurements given on the front of the pattern to be accurate.
Size Guide
The Ingrid Sweater Man should have a positive ease of about 20 cm in relation to your bust measurement. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a bust measurement, taken on the body, of 86-91 (91-96) 96-101 (101-107) 107-113 (113-119) 119-124 (124-132) 132-144 cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are given on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 103 cm around your bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size L. A sweater in size L has a chest width of 128 cm and will in this example give a positive ease of 25 cm.
