The Lindgren Sweater is knitted in stockinette stitch from the bottom up. At the bottom, the sweater has a curved ribbed hem that ends in a small slit at each side. The ribbed hem is knitted back and forth, after which the body is knitted in the round up to the underarms. The work is then divided into front and back pieces, which are knitted back and forth separately. Finally, stitches are picked up for the sleeves, which are knitted in the round. The sweater features graphic stripes knitted using the Fair Isle technique.
Finally, ribbing is knitted around the neckline and sleeve cuffs.
