The Lindgren Sweater is knitted in stockinette stitch, from bottom to top. At the bottom, the sweater has a curved ribbed edge that ends in a small slit on each side. The ribbing is knitted back and forth, then the body is knitted in the round up to the armholes. Then the work is divided into front and back pieces, which are knitted back and forth separately. Finally, stitches are picked up for the sleeves, which are knitted in the round. The sweater features graphic stripes knitted in Fair Isle technique.
Finally, ribbing is knitted around the neckline and sleeve ends.
