Kåreluvan / Kåre Hood (Crochet pattern)
The Kåreluvan is a 2-in-1 pattern including instructions for both a bonnet (open neck, ties under the chin) and a balaclava (closed neck with elastic). Whichever version you choose to make, you’ll end up with a very cozy hood! The pattern suits advanced beginners and up, so you should be comfortable with the most common stitches and reading/following a pattern. There are 3 adult sizes to choose from and you can combine colors as you like! The hood is crocheted in one piece and the main stitches used are single crochet and slip stitches.
Sizes: Adult size (1, 2, 3) fitting head circumference (52-55, 56-59, 60-62) cm.
Yarn suggestion: A cozy wool yarn in “worsted” thickness, about 125 m/50 g, works best for this pattern.
