CONSTRUCTION
The sweater is knitted in the round from the bottom up. First, the body and sleeves are knitted in the round up to the armhole. At the armhole, the body and sleeves are joined, and the yoke is knitted in the round with decreases between the pattern repeats. The upper part of the yoke is knitted back and forth while binding off for the neckline. Stitches are picked up for a collar, which starts with a pattern repeat and is then knitted in ribbing.
The sweater has ribbed edges and a simple woven knitting pattern with stockinette stitch sections between the pattern repeats.
