PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
ISAGER TWEED is a single filament yarn with a mixture of wool and mohair. The yarn has a raw expression, but the mohair fiber in the yarn helps to make it remarkably soft and give it a shiny sheen. The yarn is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and with its small rivets in other colors has a very lively surface. Since the yarn is single-stranded and therefore only spun in the same direction, it can tend to pull askew if it is knitted in the round on a circular needle. We recommend knitting back and forth on circular needles or straight needles. If pattern knitting is knitted, either as a structure, or in Jacquard knitting together with other yarn qualities, there will be no problems knitting in the round on a circular needle.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
Wool is washed by hand, unless you have a washing machine with a very gentle wool program that can be washed in cold water. To avoid wrinkling the finished knitted model, only a little soap is used. Use an approved wool detergent. Keep the same temperature throughout the washing and rinsing process and finally do not wash above 28 degrees. The knitted model can advantageously be spun easily after washing. Place the model in a laundry bag or pillow case. After the centrifugation, the model is laid out to dry on towels.
It is not necessary to wash a wool model often. It is often enough to hang it up for ventilation in damp weather. Cotton yarn and mixed yarn with flax and bamboo can withstand higher washing temperatures, but we recommend the same wash as the wool yarn.
STORAGE
Remember to store yarn and knitting in plastic bags or tightly woven cotton bags. A bucket or plastic container with a tight-fitting lid is also suitable.
Isager yarns are not moth-treated, as the agents available are not without side effects in relation to allergy sufferers and also only last for the first wash.
