We have listened to you and of course we could not resist the beautiful yarn Tvinni.

When there is an S after the color code, it means darker Gotland lambswool is mixed in, which creates the beautiful melange of the yarn.

ISAGER TVINNI has been developed by Marianne Isager in collaboration with Skive Wool Spinning. The wool in the yarn is the finest merino quality, virgin wool, which is sheared for the first time from lambs. The fibers are long and fine, which gives a very durable quality.

Isager usually says that it is our best yarn and that it wears beautifully. A sweater knitted in Tvinni has long durability if treated with care. Since the yarn is plied with two strands, it is well suited for sock knitting on circular needles and with its light weight it is a yarn that can be used in many contexts, both alone and in knitting with other qualities in e.g. Jacquard knitting (Fair Isle knitting and Norwegian pattern knitting).

Each skein is 100 grams.
When you remove the band, it is easy to divide the two skeins = 2 x 50 g.
We only sell skeins of 100 g.

Tvinni: needle 3 = 26 sts / 30 rows
Tvinni + Alpaca 1: needle 3 = 24 sts / 28 rows
Tvinni + Alpaca 2: needle 3.5 = 20 sts / 26 rows
Tvinni + Silk Mohair: needle 4 = 18 sts / 24 rows

The yarn is delivered in a 100 gram/510 m skein.
The yarn is spun and dyed in Peru.

Washing instructions

Wool should be hand washed, unless you have a washing machine with a very gentle wool program that can wash in cold water. Use an approved wool detergent like our organic one from Eucalan or Isager's own Wool detergent, we have both. Keep the same temperature throughout the washing and rinsing process and finally do not wash above 28 degrees. The stic

Storage

Remember to store yarn and knitting in plastic bags or tightly woven cotton bags or in a plastic box with a lid. This is because Isager yarns are not treated against moths, as the agents available have side effects for allergy sufferers and only last until the first wash.
