800 g Isager Merilin, color E0
Two strands are held together throughout.
MEASUREMENTS
Half bust circumference: 68 cm
Length: 62 cm
Length to armhole on back and front: 40 cm
Sleeve length to armhole: 51 cm
CONSTRUCTION
The sweater is knitted from the bottom up. The back, front, and sleeves are knitted separately, and the four pieces are worked back and forth up to the armholes. The work is then joined, and all four pieces are knitted in the round with raglan decreases. After sixteen raglan decreases, the work is divided again into the back, front, and sleeves; the sleeve stitches are bound off, and the back and front are worked back and forth, with the neckline on the front shaped using short rows.
The back and front shoulders are bound off using horizontal stitches.
The turtleneck collar is knitted separately and sewn onto the sweater at the end.
RECOMMENDED NEEDLES
3.5 mm circular needle and 3.5 mm sleeve or double-pointed needles for the collar, possibly 3 mm needle for binding off the shoulders
