ABOUT SIZES
Note the large jump between the two sizes. This is because a pattern repeat runs over 12 rows, and the vest’s shape follows the pattern repeat. Also note that size S/M with its deep armhole can fit a person size L if a slightly fitted version is desired.
For a smaller vest (size XS), you can knit with Alpaca 3 alone on needle no. 6 using the stitch count from size S/M. This gives a half chest width of 49.5 cm.
For a larger vest (size XXL – XXXL), you can knit with Tvinni instead of Spinni on needle no. 7 using the stitch count from size L/XL. This gives a half chest width of 66.5 cm.
CONSTRUCTION
The vest is knitted back and forth from the bottom up.
At the armhole, the work is divided into back and front pieces. Ribbing is finished on shoulders and back, and short rows are worked on the shoulder pieces.
Stitches are picked up along the armhole and rib edges are knitted, finished with Italian bind-off.

Needles no. 6 and no. 6.5, crochet hook no. 5
