Construction

The sweater is knitted on circular needles, from the bottom up to the armholes. From there, you can either continue on circular needles and then cut open the armholes and neckline, or continue back and forth in pattern knitting. It takes some practice to make knitting in the round and knitting back and forth look the same, and you need to master your “dominance”.

The sleeves are knitted from the inside out.

Gauge in pattern knitting: 10 cm = 20 stitches
Gauge in stripe pattern: 10 cm = 20 rows
Gauge in lice pattern: 10 cm = 23 rows
A pattern with stripes + lice pattern measures 12 cm (6 cm for stripes and 6 cm for lice pattern)
