PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Palet is a matte "summer yarn" made of 100% cotton. The yarn works well on its own but also when knitted with other yarns, such as SILK MOHAIR or other summer yarns like TRIO, JAPANESE COTTON, ALPACA 1, and ORGANIC HØR. The plied yarn also gives a nice effect on the knitted surface. The colors in the yarn are close to the colors found in the TRIO yarns.

Palet: needle size 3 = 24 sts / 28 rows
Palet + Alpaca 1: needle size 3.5 = 22 sts / 26 rows
Palet + Alpaca 2: needle size 4 = 18 sts / 22 rows
Palet + Silk Mohair: needle size 4.5 = 16 sts / 20 rows

Washing Instructions

Wool should be hand washed unless you have a washing machine with a very gentle wool program that can wash in cold water. Use a certified wool detergent. Maintain the same temperature throughout the washing and rinsing process and do not wash above 28 degrees Celsius. The knitted garment can be gently spun after washing. Place the garment in a laundry bag or a pillowcase. After spinning, lay the garment out on towels to dry.

It is not necessary to wash a wool garment frequently. Usually, it is enough to hang the garment out to air. Cotton yarn and blended yarns with linen and bamboo tolerate higher washing temperatures, but we recommend the same washing instructions as for wool yarn.

Storage

Remember to store yarn and knitting in plastic bags or tightly woven cotton bags or in a plastic box with a lid. This is because Isager yarns are not treated against moths, as the treatments available have side effects for allergy sufferers and only last until the first wash.
