MATERIALS
300 (300) 350g Isager Bouclé color E0 = color A
250 (250) 300 g Isager Alpaca 2 color E0 = color A
25 g Isager Silk Mohair color 30 = color B or
leftovers in Silk Mohair.
The model uses leftovers of colors 16, 30, and 47.
The two A colors are knitted together.
Color B is knitted with 3 strands of Silk Mohair.
The yarn quantities are for the stated measurements.
MEASUREMENTS
Half bust circumference: 58 (60) 64 cm
Total length at center back, excluding collar: 49 (52) 54 cm or the desired length
Inner sleeve length: 37.5 (40) 40 cm or the desired length + 5.5 cm ribbing
Armhole depth: 20 (21.5) 23 cm
Collar height: 12.5 cm
JÖKULL
Jökull is the Icelandic name for a glacier. On the glacier’s tongue, the ice is full of stripes of earth and ash.
CONSTRUCTION
The sweater is knitted from the bottom up, with a small slit on the right side.
Short rows are worked at the bottom of the back, and the sleeves are knitted from the armhole outwards.
The textured knitting in the sweater is not worked from a chart. On the right side, there are always more knit stitches than purl stitches.
NB! Keep an eye on the right side. The knit-stitch sections should not be identical or become too large. The sections are therefore “closed” with purl stitches.
The swatch is an example of the method, while also showing how the Silk Mohair is knitted into the sweater.

No. 4.5 in 80 and 40 cm lengths
No. 4 in 60 and 40 cm lengths
GAUGE
In stockinette stitch, 16 stitches x 25 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
