Isager
Isager Alpaca 2 - 30
ISAGER ALPACA 2 is a two-ply yarn containing 50% wool and 50% alpaca. It becomes a very soft yarn, and it is very suitable for baby clothes. If you knit with one strand of Alpaca 2, for example, it can become a neat beautiful cardigan. It is good to know that Alpaca 2 is best suited for garments that are not exposed to much wear. A soft yarn will never be as strong as a yarn spun tighter. However, the yarn is very nice for scarves and when knitted together with other qualities:
I have knitted Alpaca 2 together with Isager Soft Silk and it becomes magically beautiful and soft.

Washing instructions
Wool should be hand washed unless you have a washing machine with a very gentle wool program that can wash in cold water. Use an approved wool detergent. Maintain the same temperature throughout the washing and rinsing process and finally do not wash above 28 degrees. The knitted garment can advantageously be gently spun after washing. Place the garment in a laundry bag or a pillowcase. After spinning, lay the garment out on, for example, towels to dry.
It is not necessary to wash a wool garment so often. Usually, it is enough to hang the garment up for airing. Cotton yarn and blended yarn with linen and bamboo tolerate higher washing temperatures, but we recommend the same washing as for wool yarn.
Storage
Remember to store yarn and knitting in plastic bags or tightly woven cotton bags or in a plastic box with a lid. This is because Isager yarn is not treated for moths, as the agents used are not without side effects for allergy sufferers and only last until the first wash.
