ISAGER HIGHLAND is spun from sheep's wool from Peru. The yarn is characterized by its fine colors which are a mixture of different shades that are dyed into the wool before it is spun. Highland is not as firmly spun as Tvinni and thus feels softer, but the yarn can replace Tvinni and Alpaca 2. In terms of softness and durability, the quality is between these two. The yarn works well in pattern knitting with other qualities, and it does not twist when knitted on a circular needle. Highland is really nicely knitted alone, but the yarn can also be knitted together with other qualities.

STICK STRENGTH

Highland: knit 3 = 26 sts / 30 rounds
Highland + Alpaca 1: knit 3 = 24 sts / 28 rounds
Highland + Alpaca 2: needles 3.5 = 20 m / 26 rounds
Highland + Silk Mohair: sticka 4 = 18 m / 24 p

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

Wool is washed by hand, unless you have a washing machine with a very gentle wool program that can be washed in cold water. To avoid wrinkling the finished knitted model, only a little soap is used. Use an approved wool detergent. Keep the same temperature throughout the washing and rinsing process and finally do not wash above 28 degrees. The knitted model can advantageously be spun easily after washing. Place the model in a laundry bag or pillow case. After the centrifugation, the model is laid out to dry on towels.

It is not necessary to wash a wool model often. It is often enough to hang it up for ventilation in damp weather. Cotton yarn and mixed yarn with flax and bamboo can withstand higher washing temperatures, but we recommend the same wash as the wool yarn.

STORAGE

Remember to store yarn and knitting in plastic bags or tightly woven cotton bags. A bucket or plastic container with a tight-fitting lid is also suitable.
Isager yarns are not moth-treated, as the agents available are not without side effects in relation to allergy sufferers and also only last for the first wash.
